On February 21, we received the recognition of GIBIO as an official research group in the engineering academic department at PUCP. GIBIO is the only research group in biomedical optics and biophotonics at PUCP, led by Dr. Fernando Zvietcovich. This recognition has been granted by the Vice-Rectorate for Research (VRI) of PUCP. This achievement would not have been possible without the hard work of its members, which is reflected in the activities carried out, publications, and research.
On May 31, 2024, the first meeting of all members took place, where each one was able to introduce themselves and share a bit about the research activities they are developing.
